Preparing for your Visit

Your First Appointment

  • Prior to your first appointment, you may be emailed a new patient questionnaire, so that we can better understand your condition.
  • Please take a look at our Clinic Policy before your visit.
  • You will receive a reminder call several days prior to your appointment.
  • If you are not able to attend your appointment, kindly provide 24 hours cancellation notice by calling the office and leaving a message.

Virtual Visit

We are providing both telephone as well as video visits for virtual appointments.

  • For video visits, you will receive an invitation to sign up for a Medeo account from our office if you do not already have a Medeo account.
  • Following this, you may log into your Medeo account 5 minutes prior to your scheduled video appointment.

Clinic Visit

  • For your in-person visit, you will need to bring:
    • a list of your current medications
    • any reports of joint imaging/tests (no need to bring CD images)
    • A valid health card
  • You are asked to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment.
  • You can expect to be in the clinic for 30-60 minutes.

Our Clinic

Markham Rheumatology Hub has two locations in Markham – Kennedy Office and Boxgrove Office.

 

Kennedy Office:

Our Kennedy Office is located at 7800 Kennedy Road, Suite 305. The major intersection is Kennedy Road and 14th Ave, just south of Hwy 407. There is free outdoor parking outside the building. The clinic is also accessible by public transit (York Region Transit).

If you are travelling south on Kennedy Road, you can make a right turn at the building entrance and access the parking lot.

If you are travelling north on Kennedy Road, you cannot make a left turn at the building entrance. You will need to turn left on Duffield Drive, then take the 1st left at Deverill Court, you will see GreenLife Centre Parking Lot as you approach the building on the right.

 

Boxgrove Office:

Our Boxgrove Office is located in the Boxgrove Medical Centre (Ninth Line and Hwy 407). There is free outdoor parking outside the building.
